Since Elie joined NYA in 2007, his experience has focused on uniquely challenging projects within a material context of structural steel, reinforced concrete, post tensioned concrete, fiber reinforced polymers, light gage steel, and wood framed construction. He has enjoyed a technical and collaborative role in the structural design and management of new and existing building projects within the residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and government sectors, including such project services as new design, performance based seismic design, seismic evaluations, and retrofits, seismic risk assessments, tenant improvements, and structural peer reviews.
