This is the first major renovation to Dodger Stadium since this Los Angeles landmark opened in 1962. During many off-seasons, the stadium was structurally upgraded to meet current seismic codes and renovated to include many new modern stadium facilities.
New mechanical, electrical as well as fire and life safety infrastructures were integrated into this fully occupied and operational facility to accommodate the added amenities. Existing fifth level improvements (Club Level) were demolished and reconfigured to house a new restaurant, 35 private luxury suites and a complete business center were also developed. The radio and television broadcast booth facilities were also completely renovated. At the field level, new seats were added along each baseline and directly behind the home plate to enable visitors to access the exclusive eating behind home plate through a new, members-only restaurant, The Dugout Club.
